How it started…
2020
Love Ventures was founded in 2020 by two brothers, Marcus and Adrian Love. Granted, they got lucky with the name.
Following their respective careers in growth investing and property scale ups, Marcus and Adrian began their investing journey together as angels in 2015, backing the likes of Chip, Crowdcube and Revolut in their early days. We’re determined to keep the angel ethos running through how we operate today: fast-moving, high conviction, deeply collaborative.

2021
We launched our first fund investing into game-changing UK technology companies operating at Seed across FinTech, Future of Work and ConsumerTech.
2022
We closed our second fund, grew the team to six (alongside our five awesome advisors), and moved into our new office by Oxford Circus. Come and say hello!
2023
We launched our third fund, hosted more than 10 community events and grew our portfolio to over 20 category-defining startups, as well as bringing Carolyn Maddox onto the Love Ventures team.
2024
Having kicked off the year with a move into our new office by Oxford Circus, we’re now expanding the team ahead of launching our first Evergreen fund in April.

About our funds:
We enable investors to access diversified portfolios of high growth UK companies that are shaping the future of money, the built environment and how we as consumers live our daily lives.
Love Ventures EIS Funds I, II and III invest in a portfolio of between 8-14 early stage companies; we look for companies with an exceptional founding team, strong traction and proof points, who are operating in large and growing markets across FinTech, Future of Work and ConsumerTech, often at the intersection of these sectors.
We are hands-on investors who provide close and committed support for our portfolio companies when they need it, and give them the freedom to grow when they don’t.
