The global workforce is undergoing a seismic shift towards flexibility, remote work, and project-based hiring. Yet, traditional insurance products remain tethered to outdated, localised frameworks that fail to address the cross-border, dynamic nature of modern work. Recruitment agencies and managed service providers (MSPs) often bear the administrative burden of onboarding contractors while ensuring compliance with client-imposed insurance requirements. These manual processes are inefficient, error-prone and unsustainable as the workforce becomes more distributed.

Enter Jove: the first borderless insurance provider designed specifically for contractors, freelancers and small businesses navigating a globalised, digital-first economy.

Jove is transforming the fragmented contractor and small business insurance space with its proprietary AI-driven insurance validation tool that integrates seamlessly into HR and ATS systems. This model automates contractor insurance verification at onboarding, eliminating administrative inefficiencies while ensuring compliance. For those without adequate coverage, Jove offers flexible, borderless insurance products tailored to their needs. Its flagship product, a business liability insurance solution, is designed with contractors and SMEs in mind.

Features include:

• Global Coverage: Ensures contractors can operate across borders seamlessly

• Monthly Subscriptions: Flexibility to pause coverage during project gaps

• Digital Integration: Effortless onboarding and policy management through a simple API

These offerings are underpinned by partnerships with major insurers such as Accelerant and Great American Insurance Group, reflecting the robustness of Jove’s model.

The contractor and SME insurance market is at a critical inflection point. The pandemic accelerated trends like remote work and the gig economy, creating a surge in demand for flexible, portable insurance solutions. At the same time, technological advances in AI enable innovations that were previously impossible in the insurance space. We believe ethat Jove is entering the market at precisely the right time to take advantage of these shifts. The company’s ability to integrate with recruitment platforms, HR tools and marketplaces positions it as a vital partner for businesses adapting to the future of work.

Jove has achieved significant traction to date. In just over a year, Jove has secured partnerships with major global recruitment firms and MSPs including InterEx, Magnit, Remote and Hays, as well as mobility platforms like Shiply. Its AI validation tool has laid the foundations for impressive early adoption across global markets, demonstrating both the effectiveness of its technology and the team’s ability to execute at pace.
